RÉNORÉGION PROGRAM
Are you an owner-occupant of a home in need of major repairs? Is your household income limited? Through the RénoRégion program of the Société d’habitation du Québec (SHQ), you may be eligible to receive up to $25,000 in financial assistance—depending on your household income—to address major defects in your home.
ELIGIBILITY¹
Eligible individuals
RénoRégion is intended for owner-occupants who are part of a low- or modest-income household and whose residence is located in an eligible area. The maximum eligible income varies depending on household size.

Eligible dwellings
The building must be occupied as a principal residence by the owner applying for the program and must contain no more than two dwelling units, including the owner’s unit. Its standardized municipal value must be less than $150,000.
Eligible work
The work must address major defects, including but not limited to:
- Exterior walls
- Openings (doors and windows)
- Projections (galleries, balconies, etc.)
- Roofing
- Structure
All work must be carried out by a contractor holding an appropriate license from the Régie du bâtiment du Québec.

To apply for the RénoRégion Program, contact the Municipality of New Carlisle between May 12th and June 12th, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
